  1. Meloni is obviously on Trump’s side like Orban, so it is no surprising she is against it

She invested in Trump coin or what? Why she’s always on his side?

  3. Europe is not fighting Trump, it is fighting for itself, and that is always a good idea.

Really disappointed in her right now. Carney stepped up because invading Greenland threat was insane. You can’t wait him out because every few months there are new threats and a new crisis that he causes.

I was hoping Carney would get more support

I think she wants people to believe she’s on EU side but she’s in fact with Trump

Sniveling cowardice. The only thing bullies like trump understand is being punched in the face.

  7. Read the room, Meloni. Several European leaders stuck their necks out and Trump did another of his famous TACO.

Trump should be handled like Putin. He doesn’t deserve respect.

Trump is a bully. Bullies don’t believe cooperation or mutual respect. They only believe in taking what they can and won’t stop until forced to stop. The more world leaders and Democrats try to work with him the more he’ll try to take.

  9. Honestly I think its a hard call to make.

Given his narcissism you could take the route of glazing the shit out of him. By publicly telling everyone how brilliant and charismatic he is and repeatedly hosting lavish ceremonies whenever he visits praising him, you’ll make him happy and he will have chats with you face to face. He’ll then probably repeat your ideas as his own sometime later, though quite possibly misunderstanding/misremembering key details. Its a bit limited, but its a bit of influence over the actions of this administration that you wouldn’t have otherwise. Also would allow you to endure the Trump presidency while keeping as much of the relationship with the US intact as possible when things hopefully return to normal. Problem is that you’d be reinforcing his ego and the certainty that his bat shit decisions are good ones. He’d use your words to try and support the narrative of his greatness to his supporters. Plus there’s no guarantee that he won’t just slam you with tariffs and accuse you of bullshit anyway, he’s infamous for demanding total loyalty but not giving it.

Publicly opposing him and calling him out instead is really risky. He’s petty, so he will throw a tantrum online and won’t blink at tearing up agreements, initiating tariffs, or placing sanctions on you if you say a single bad thing about him. If you do something more meaningful like place your own ones back, he escalates. But because he craves praise and despises criticism, he ends up changing course when he gets a lot of flak over something specific like mass tariffs or invading greenland. Don’t misinterpret it as him respecting people who stand up to him though, he’ll hate them for it and keep up the petty hostility.

Bending over for Trump is a bad idea. He has screwed over everyone who has served him. Trump is a simple beast. He understands only “big stick makes me go ouchy”

  11. And so is appeasing him, Meloni. So, what do we do ? Not that you’d know anyway, you limp willed bastard.

Imagine being married to him and trying to win any argument with broken English. Trump will call up ICE to take her back to her bedroom

„Meloni told her EU counterparts that fighting Trump was a bad idea because Europe has everything to lose from a conflict with America, according to four people briefed on the leaders’ conversations who were off as crazy or unpredictable, as some officials have privately described him during a whirlwind start to 2026 on international affairs. “

„Speaking after the summit, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen suggested the leaders had learned the lesson this week that standing up to Trump in a “firm” but “non-escalatory” way was an effective strategy that they should continue. “

Seems like a reasonable stance to me,keep a firm position but not escalate things to 11 and burn everything to the ground

  14. just another fascist sucker, the only way to handle Trump is to make sure he is hurting more than you

A far right Trump fan girl says we should not fight Trump. Can we just move on to some useful and important news please?

  16. strangedaze23 on

I disagree. He doesn’t use a good track record for “winning” battles and as soon as the stock market starts to hurt he folds like a lawn chair.

What has proven to succeed is not to back down and take steps to impact the stock market. Going online with his insanity just leads to more.

Yeah, listen Giorgia, if we want your input, we’ll call you, okay?

  18. That’s because there’s nothing in Italy that Donbald wants. Subservience to a dick-tator does not serve your country or your citizens very well.

  19. Thank you. The most painful part of this is discovering just how many friends/family support him. I am devastated. For my own peace and self-respect, I cut them off. I just could not pretend to be interested in anything they have to say. I don’t respect their opinions. Don’t get me wrong, I still want them to eat, just not at my table.

Now off to an anti-ICE protest! Cheers!

Italian here, I apologize if Italian PM lacks balls, figuratively and metaphorically meaning.
