This explains all the stupid shit does without even thinking about it first.

Didn’t he struggle for years to make it in Hollywood? Living in a van. How do you go from that, to the level of delusion and ignorance that he’s achieved.

  3. Every trailer for this movie I see I can’t believe it’s real. It’s so poorly acted, poorly filmed, and poorly… Everything. It’s like an SNL parody that forgot to put jokes in.

  4. Chris Pratt is one of the few actors that probably could be replaced w an AI version of himself with no detectable difference.

I feel bad for modern kids. Chris Pratt is the voice of Mario and Garfield. And it’s just Chris Pratt, no character, no voice „acting“.

  6. If someone told me we could swap out Pratt himself for an AI actor, that might get enough buy-in to give AI actors a real shot.

Hubby went to high school with him and where he was a funny, likeable sort of guy, he did seem entitled. I think he’s first cousins with Spencer Pratt, so this prickish behavior tracks.

Chris Pratt is consistently the worst Chris that Hollywood has ever produced.

And there goes the less than 5% chance I was gonna go waste an Alist slot on this

Everyone has already commented about the general attitude of how they feel about Chris Pratt.

So, instead, this does create sort of a potential for an interesting discussion around actors and roles. We’ve seen *a lot* of discourse around things having to do with matching who an actor physically/mentally is to the roles they’re portraying. Like gay roles should only be held by gay actors, etc. Then you have the discussion around Snow White and the dividing line of whether or not the role of the dwarves should be held by little people.

If you took some of these opinions to the extreme, there is an argument that AI is suitable to play AI.

Clearly the largest difference here is that a living person would be playing all the former roles, which seems to be the current dividing line of the general consensus.

But this may be one of those things you point at if your among those who feel it doesn’t matter what actor holds what role so long as the human actor is capable of portraying the character authentically.

We really couldnt tell the difference. Hollywood relies on formulas. Almost like coding. We can already picture the trailer. They all play exactly the same. You know what I’m talking about.

I can imagine a new form of interactive movie going experience. Hollywoods gotta step it up and find a way to break the formula. Or else one day to the next younger generations wont really care if its ai or not. So long as its shallow, fast, exciting, violent, loud and colorful.

Cant wait for the inevitable “the movie flopped only because people hate that I am Christian wahhh wahhh wahh” post by Pratt.

Honestly, when I saw the poster for the movie (with him in the chair and the AI looming over him) I didn’t realise it was him. His face is way too angular.
