      “Soft-ban” is the key term here. It’s basically rage-bait based marketing scheme that’s already put this establishment on the map

    3. “Explicitly soft-bans” feels like an oxymoron.

      I agree with the opinion in the article that this could’ve been communicated better without an explicit “ban.” People can generally tell whether they’ll like a place based on menus, decor, crowd, etc.

      seems like a solution to a problem that didn’t exist.

      Or do people really go into a lively place and complain it’s too lively?
