I agree with some points he made, but this feels like a sucking up to trump speech. The US abandoned Ukraine and this idea if zalensky just kisses trumps ass enough or in the right way they will return is misguided imo.

So anyone with a brain can see that Trump is basically a traitor and that ever since Zelenskyy got lambasted for not wearing a suit when he visited, he would obviously prefer not to have to rely on the United States.
This should tell you how bad the European inaction is. The so called “Coalition of the Willing” was formed almost a year ago with all of the major countries excluding the US with the purpose of aiding Ukraine without the involvement of Trump. And now a year later to today, nothing has changed. Ukraine is still getting bombarded and losing ground, Europe is only willing to send peacekeeping troops AFTER the war is over, and Zelenskyy has straight up said security guarantees without the US involved are worthless.
The fact that Zelenskyy still tries to be diplomatic with Trump should be an indictment of how European Aid is basically worth less than minuscule aid from an almost outright hostile figurehead in Trump.

We all now know that Russia has been trying to take over the social media space in the western sphere…use our openess against us. Flood our social media with their bots to try and forment strife to try and influence MSM.
The anger directed between countries in NATO, by Reddit accounts, seems a little bit fishy does it not?
This is all part of the Russian playbook – The ‚Foundations of Geopolitics‘. They spelled it out for us plain and simple, and we all could have spared the time to read it, but a lot of people still fell for it and here we are now – at each others throats, just like the greatest minds in Russia designed.
European leaders have been warned for years about the dangers of Russian imperialism from the east and Islamic fundamentalism coming from the south. They ignored both threats for years and now Europe has a huge problem with both threats.

You really can’t win without offensive weapons. I fully respect Ukraine’s fight. The free world has failed Ukraine.

Feels like Zelensky knows that he can now use some leverage on EU, given the recent threat on EU territories from the US.
Ukraine is the only country in Europe which currently has the know how of modern warfare.
If the Russian threat of moving beyond Ukraine in the future was not enough to move europeans more quickly, the US threat should have finally moved the needle.
Ukraine can be a key defense pillar in Europe in the future (well, they already are), by sharing their knowledge and capabilities. Zelensky knows it and he is now pushing the pedal. Maybe european leaders will start to realise it too and work harder to help and stop the war.
