Ich erinnere mich, dass ich Cartoon Network geschaut habe, während meine Eltern unser Haus renovierten, und plötzlich alle Sender auf CNN umgeschaltet haben (ja, sogar die Zeichentricksender) und ich sah, wie das zweite Flugzeug den zweiten Turm traf.

I recorded some news broadcasts on that day from TV to VHS. Wonder if the tape’s still somewhere.

It’s funny how i remember reading that same newspaper on that day, although being very young.
I have a vivid memory that the next day’s Helsingin Sanomat would have had a front page about the attack instead of the usual ad. It was the first time I’d ever seen them do that, for some reason really added to the feeling that something truly unprecedented had happened (I was 10 at the time).
Does anyone else remember this? I’ve been trying to search for it online, but have not found it, so am wondering if I just remember wrong?
I never forget where I was on that day! On a train from Seinäjoki to Tampere and a passenger front of me was on phone with someone and they were talking about this, I think I misheard them or something, but was like WTF is going on when finally got home and turned TV news on.
