      Good. This splitting things into two movies trend is bullshit. Especially an adaptation of a musical like this. If the stage production can be done in one go, it’s one fucking movie. Period.

      I’m a bit shocked that Arianna Grande and Costuming and Make up didn’t get nominated. But at the same time, I’m not terribly surprised.

      It’s a mirror of the Broadway show to an extent. Act 1 of Wicked is much stronger than Act 2, and For Good is based on Act 2.

      Honestly, you could have just left Wicked at Part One as a pseudo prequel to the Wizard of Oz and I think people would have been satisfied.

      Good – I think they campaigned way too hard (and really, too long with the movie broken up into 2 parts), that people were simply sick of them.

      Went and endured it in Christmas
      One of the worst movies I’ve ever seen

      well the first movie only won the awards for best costumes/design so the 2nd probably didnt have much of a chance winning anything else.

      And the same movie winning the same awards 2 years in a row is kinda bleh

      Loved the first Wicked movie. But nothing about the 2nd film made me think *WOW THIS NEEDS AN OSCAR.*

      They’re not entitled to a nomination just because they successfully annoyed everyone with the amount of promotion they were doing.

      Paul Tazewell deserved the nomination at least. There is beautiful work on those costumes.

      Movies filmed concurrently, and then released separately shouldn’t be eligible anyway

      Good. Ariana and Cynthia are terrible role models. Ari for always cheating with men in relationships and both of them for their anorexic co dependent relationship. It’s not ok. I’m so glad we are done hearing about them!

      Yeah I think even the Oscar voters are tired of the whole Wicked situation. I think everyone just wants it to go away at this point.

      Good. Sick of hearing about these movies and the weird, off-putting behavior of their mentally ill stars.

      Oscar’s have nothing to do with good movies. They’re about pandering to minorities, lecturing of behavior from the elite, and being bored out of your mind
