      President Trump touts his Board of Peace as an organization of accomplished leaders that will displace the United Nations, with him as permanent chairman. But so far it is a group of countries more interested in currying favor with him than in solving pressing conflicts.

      Russia and China haven’t accepted Trump’s invitation, and even longtime U.S. allies the U.K. and France say they are reluctant, worried about joining an organization subject to Trump’s whims that could give equal status to authoritarians such as Russian President Vladimir Putin.

      To the holdouts, the board is a new international club built alarmingly around Trump, without the protections of the U.N. For the countries that have joined, it is a chance for access to Trump and a bigger, albeit still supporting, diplomatic role.

      Why would anyone sign up for an international dictatorship under a getiatric pedofile filanderer that has proven yo be spineless and untrustworthy.

      And besides that, the UN and her security coulcil are a talking forum. A place where countries can always talk to eachother and air their grievances.. and sometimes this helps prevents war or results in a coalition of countries that embark on a peace mission.

      The UN is not the world police. It has no army, no own goals other than those agreed upon and financed by their members.

      This is the same as all those stupid executive orders.

      Trump cannot actually negotiate, as this requires finesse and a win-win solution orientation.. trump only knows zero sum and needs to win or he pouts and goes home with his ball. The same goes for his entire regime.

      On the international stage he is relegated to bribing, threatening or being placated and the threats only work against the small isolated targets. Hence his anyi EU stance..

      The idea that the new UN will have Trump himself, and then his handpicked successor, as the chairman in perpetuity, is patently absurd and just reinforces how divorced from reality he is. It might as well have Kid Rock as the chairman.

      I am completely, 100% on board with a new organization that would replace the UN. The UN is corrupt, biased, and is generally ineffective outside of a few niche areas.

      But this „Peace Board“ would be all that but worse.

      Previous world order : Everyone is the bitch of the USA.

      New world order : Everyone is even more the bitch of the USA and the USA gets to complain that it’s unfair.

      Hard pass.
