This isn’t being reported much, but bizarrely, Trump is not the chairman because he’s the president of the United States: he’s chairman for life, and representative of the United States, in his personal capacity:

So when he leaves office, he’s still chair of his bullshit UN. 

A great way to get a billion dollars from Putin and not even have to hide it. Two or three billion considering Putin is likely going to cover Lukashenko and Orban’s bills.
