Ironie-Alarm: Halluzinierte Zitate in Beiträgen von NeurIPS, der prestigeträchtigen KI-Konferenz

As somebody who recently completed an academic advanced degree that required reading and writing research papers—and found the research and citation part of it a pain in the ass—it’s a relief to see how many people ALSO apparently find it difficult to actually read everything you reference. It’s also fucking horrifying how many people are A-OK with straight-up not even reading the damned abstract (as evidenced by the fact they keep putting nonexistent research papers into their citations).
