Even when trump does eventually leaves office there’s still the problem of americanism. Trump is a symptom of american society and I’m afraid that there will still be someone like or worse than trump in the future unless changes to the fundamental ways american society operates

Fox News article talking about something that happened over a year ago, just because someone happened to repost it on the internet. Don’t post that shit here.

It’s pretty telling that this story gets recycled when they need to distract from current issues. The real story isn’t what some Danish politician said, but why so many Americans continue to support someone who constantly embarrasses their country internationally. This manufactured outrage just feeds the same base that thinks Greenland should be American territory anyway. Reminds me of all the other times Trump has shown complete disrespect to people who challenge him.

Excerpt: „In January 2025, during a debate regarding [Trump’s discussion about taking over Greenland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proposals_for_the_United_States_to_purchase_Greenland), Vistisen gave a speech in which he said: „It is not for sale. Let me put it into words you might understand, Mr. Trump: fuck off.“ His speech later went viral on social media,[^([7])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Vistisen#cite_note-7)[^([8])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Vistisen#cite_note-8)[^([9])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Vistisen#cite_note-9)[^([10])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Vistisen#cite_note-10)[^([11])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anders_Vistisen#cite_note-11) though he was reprimanded by Vice President [Nicolae Ștefănuță](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolae_%C8%98tef%C4%83nu%C8%9B%C4%83) for his use of profanity. The story was widely retold in the American press one year later, on 20 January 2026.“
