      Yeah UK is properly screwed if the gulf stream ends. Half our houses you can feel the breeze through closed windows

      Western Europe is on the western end of Eurasia. For apples to apples, you should be comparing Western Europe to western North America. If you do so, you’ll notice the temperatures are quite similar.

      Europe is not just warmer than North America, it’s warmer than most places at the same latitude, e.g. it’s -12C in Beijing now, while Barcelona (similar latitude) is +12C. 24C warmer!

      Keep in mind that eastern North America is just as cold for its latitude as western Europe is warm, and should not by any means be seen as the „correct“ or „default“ climate for such latitudes.

      Americans can’t be paying for heating Europe any longer. If you do not find your own heating source, we will tax your usage of our water, from the beautiful Gulf of America. It’s going to be the most beautiful tax.
