      Druze deserve their independence. Funny how there’s so many protest about Palestine but no one cares when Christians or Hindus are the victims of opression,

      Imagine fighting alongside the US for over a decade as its primary ground force against ISIS, only to be told by the US Ambassador in 2026 that you are no longer needed and should unify with the Syrian Government, itself led by a former senior ISI (later ISIS) and al-Qaeda figure who had a US-issued $10 million bounty only 6 months ago. Not to mention the vast Islamist elements in the current Syrian military, including forces responsible for the ethnic cleansing of Kurdish majority towns. Because that’s what happened:

      This is a pretty big development. Once Syria secures their north and their alliance with Turkey is solidified, they can start the rebuilding process backed by the Turks and the Saudies.

      Syria may finally be open to the world again.
