  1. As a person who’s a total layman and barely knows Twice and Fifty Fifty are not the same people: don’t k-pop artists… like… have to be from South Korea by definition?

  3. I’m curious if the Peruvian mentioned is Lenin Tamayo. He makes k-pop style music in Quechua (he calls it Q-pop) so idk if the mapmaker would count him as being a k-pop idol

    Cool map, and thanks for responding to the comments. How are you defining „from“? Born there, citizenship from there, or identify as from there via heritage (or maybe another definition)?

    The one TIL for me is that there are *a lot* of K-pop stars.
