Greed and rumination is killing the music industry and entertainment in general. People are so tethered to the past and can’t move on, and sampling legal battles have hit an all time high because of the literal Poison of success and private equity dictating these battles. We need some creativity back asap.

In the past, our favorite things had a clear beginning middle and end. Now we feel trapped by the same shit nagging at us because the industries we once loved are out of ideas or are viable to the mechanisms of private equity extraction.

I miss the days where we could just transition to the next great thing and accept that not everything is a happy ever after.
