Why did you guys vote for him. So much chaos everywhere
How do Americans honestly deal with all this winning day in and day out
Well, well, well..
This has been in effect since October, dont know why theyre suddenly reporting this now
What “trade talks” ? Mexico, Canada and the US had trade agreements negotiated under the orange administration that were ripped up in 2025.
Finally India grows a pair.
Trump is a sick paedophile
Now the EU is gonna stall the trade deals with the US. Worst is yet to come for the US, I hope Americans realize their biggest mistake of the century.
India showed patience all these months. It was about to break someday.
TIL that peas or beans are called “pulses” in India.
Blood in the water?
here is my theory… American industries can adapt to ANY trade and tariff deals as long as they are STABLE.. this unpredictable shit sabotages future oriented investments and makes America a toxic unpredictable country to avoid dealing with.
Sounds like the trade deal talks between india and the EU look good
So we got already a 50% tariff then a threat of 25% more cause we trade with Iran, and likely the orange buffon is gonna tariff more on this case, damn it
**This is ridiculous, some people – from the right wing, claiming India imposed tariffs on the US – and celebrating it – oh, Modi is powerful, don’t tariff India, we will silently do this, do that.**
Lets uunderstand this better with facts – not noise.
1. India had a tariff policy on pulses before 2023; it removed it
2. result – The Indian market was flooded by imported pulses, pushing prices below MSP in many cases.
3. India meanwhile, did not produce enough pulses to meet the demand domestically
4. But farmers‘ groups – they want money – and want to sell the pulses at a higher cost, so they pressurised the govt. – and farmers‘ protests (if they launch again) can topple the govt.
5. Indian agriculture remained non-competitive, non-progressive. govt pushed reforms – farmer groups rejected.
6. So, the government went the other way – imposed tariffs on pulse imports – especially to target Canada and Russia – they were flooding the market –
6. US share – was $15 million before 2023, it went up $75 million; it was still half of what Canada and Russia were exporting, and the tariffs were imposed accordingly
Result –
Now – these **farmers groups** are buying cheap pulses from farmers selling at a higher price in the market.- **Making money**.
**Govt charging agri cess** from on imports (20% of this 30% tarriff) rest 10% is basic duty. – So, **govt is making money** – is it passing back to farmers? That’s questionable
And **consumers/common citizens** – They are **paying a higher price**. – Some sections of common citizens are celebrating this masterstroke.

Lmao, everything shit like this happens i am reminded of the meme of Trump in that white golf shirt with the background of all the red stocks
to be more specific, this has been in place since october last year and is not directly targeted at the usa but in general to any imports from any countries but yes, indirectly it was meant for the usa as a few usa senators have written to trump to negotiate with india which is why it is being reported now
Looks like India has reached understanding with EU blocks. Plus, reached some understanding with China. The biggest winner out of all these Trump tantrums is China. China’s economy is export dependent and America together with Europe, Canada, Japan, India, Australia, South Korea could have put some pressure on China. Now because of Trump tantrums, EU ans Canada are opening up to China and similar initiatives can be expected from India also. South Korea is also reached some understanding with China. So barring Japan, most of the big nations are somehow more intermingled with China.
Years of American strategy is going down the drain.
When you don’t respect and act fair to other countries, it will eventually come back to bite you.
This has been in effect since oct 25 as far as I remember
YESSS, keep it coming
Expect uber fares and 7/11 purchases to increase
What are the chances, once he’s gone for whatever reason finally catches up to him, would we be able to be like, “Yo, my bad. Can we, like, just reset? Back to Obama, if possible, but Biden would be ok I think.”
Serious question, how much of this is permanent?
Fuck them. Isolate them and dump their treasury bonds.
The source does not look legit.
I feel mature leaders in Eu, India and Asia are going to time their retaliation to maximize impact on US mid-term elections.
Yoo this is good , let keep it up , next up trump ban all h1b from India and return all existing people to India for national security, and India so the same , return all US working who work there to the US , pls pls pls
Lol this feels like last year all over again
Hahahaha!
This article makes no sense. This tariff has been applicable since Nov 2025. More importantly, this tariff was applicable on imports from any country. i.e. it was not targeted at any specific country.
What do these sites get from misleading people like this?
Stupid decision by India. They are nowhere close to us like EU or Canada that this will cause any issues with public. They need us much more than we need them. Also, this would make US more close to Pakistan
Let’s tariff the fuck out of the U.S.
India’s recent growth report has emboldened them. Even the reserve bank took steps to help their falling currency after waiting for so long.
America is really good at making enemies. India, China… Who will they get their products from?
Not nearly enough.
