      Edit: Muhammad Ali was *conscripted*, refused to deploy overseas, and served years in prison. These soldiers signed up and swore to defend the constitution – most for a paycheck, but all knowing that they could die — and any one of them that fails to meet the standard of a conscripted boxer, when asked to deploy to their own country in an act of aggression under the false pretense of fighting insurrection, can kiss my ass.

      The *only* homicide in the twin cities this year has been by ICE. Fuck the insurrection claim, it’s illegitimate and everyone knows it

      I remember reading something about how the Chinese government sent troops to Tiananmen Square who were from the countryside or different regions so they wouldn’t have any connections/sympathy for the protesters. They were also fed heavy propaganda about what was happening in Beijing, being told the city was being overrun by violent people who were killing soldiers/government officials.

      Unfortunately it seems really similar to where things are currently headed in the USA.

      Can we start calling this a civil war now? Because that’s what it is. That’s what we’re dealing with. It may be a one sided, asymmetrical civil war? But when the federal government is invading states, violating their laws, and are kidnapping, raping and murdering the people of those states? It’s a fucking civil war.
