I don’t think disclosing the existence of aliens would trigger the kind of existential meltdown people assume. Most people would probably absorb it & talk about it online for a while, religions would find a way to justify it and then people go back to their daily lives.. maybe I’m wrong.

For the past 5 years (at least) they have been disclooosing, always a bombastic announcement, i.e. „A US Airforce pilot about to disclose on Joe Rogan“, „Disclosure in the congress, watch CNN“ etc and then some guy comes and says „oh yes, we’ve seen something, we don’t know, maybe aliens, maybe Russian or Chinese or ***maybe ours*** but we don’t really know lol“. So how is the US gov going to disclose anything if they don’t even know what their own military is doing ? BS.
Also what happened with those UFOs over America last year ? Already forgotten. It’s all theatre to entertain the cattle and divert their attention from the fact that America is run by nonces.

I think disclosure is something no one would really care about. If we don’t see it as humans we don’t really care. They could tell us they met Martians in space without any physical bearings for humans to experience we don’t care.
An actual world event on the other hand. Whether planned (most logical) or actually real it doesn’t really matter in the modern day. The result would be the same – catastrophic. Society would crack, markets take an insane hit. Fear is the biggest driver of money just look at Covid. So tbh, yea it would probably fuck a lotta shit up.
And I guarantee, there will be nations on the planet that it genuinely just won’t affect bc they aren’t under western influence. People could be scrambling for Toilet paper in London while some random people in the middle of nowhere in Africa carry on their normal days. Something like this is always an iq test lol you just gotta hope wherever ur at people are smart enough.
