Why do IT projects fail?

That explains a lot.
No requirements, no communication, unqualified people.
Mismanagement ? Nice word to not say corruption.

Iv’e worked for iPolice project as a consultant at sopra, my view was sopra oversell like all consulting companies but people working on the project were absolutly not unquallified, the DRI was highly questionnable and huge lack of management, they got audited during the project and the result of the audit was very negative.
I know the guy who was managing the day to day project at DRI side and was among the most unquallified person i’ve worked with.
I know the girl who was directing the project at sopra side and she was a pain in the ass, but consultants wasn’t an issue at all.
