      Each time that I go fetch a vinted package in a press shop it’s a sharp contrast how all the white collar workers come for packages like me and all the blue collar workers come for cigarettes and Lotto

      And it’s not even a money question, most wages are extremely similar in Belgium, it’s a cultural thing

      They should ban the national lottery from offering all those bullshit games that look like they give you a fair shot at winning if you play right but they’re rigged. I can imagine a lot of people get addicted by those because they make it look like you’re close to winning (on purpose!).

      A lottery is a lottery, not a casino.

      So, an ideal moment to divest the national lottery and use it to pay down national debt.

      Governments shouldn’t be providing casino games anyway.

      I play 1 line of lotto through the website. I often win the lowest amount so every few months I’ll put 20 euro on. You can’t win if you don’t play, and spending more does not really improve your odds that much.

      Bad advice, the more money you spend on gambling, the bigger the chance you win the jackpot

      Only thing I don’t have to pay taxes on. You can’t get wealth from working, taking risk, saving or investing. It’s lotto or selling drugs

      The lottery is a form of entertainment like any other. It’s even healthier and cheaper than drinking beer at a bar.
