If only US prosecutors had that kind of balls for treason. You know when somebody tried to overthrow the government.

In a normal functioning country, declaring martial law without going through the necessary bureaucratic steps leads to being prosecuted hard like that. But what if Trump does it? Would he be accounted for it like Yoon? South Korea, albeit the government and judicial officials not being exempt from corruption, still listened to mass public outcry and quickly remedied the situation with the leftist party leading the impeachment. I hope the US would follow such an example when the occasion arises. Best case scenario would be for the Republicans lose majority in congress via midterms, but by the look of just the first half of January this year, even a civil war may not be far out of reach.
