      The 21 km^2 in the south west refers to the Free State of Fiume (Rijeka) if anyone’s wondering.

      Always the same rule regarding the Central Europe: divide and conquer. Strong self-sufficient states are not allowed there. But when you apply the same logic to UK, France, Spain, Italy or Germany – oh no, those are „single nations“, nobody dare to separate.

      Isnt much of south slovakia stilm ethnically hungarian to this day? I’m an ignorant American but I’ve always felt a peaceful transfer of territories to a more democratic Hungary should be in order.
