    >A dispute ensued, and the driver ended up calling police, claiming he had been assaulted, the source says. When officers responded to the radio call near Sunset Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue in Hollywood, they arrested Sutherland on suspicion of making criminal threats and booked him for a felony, police said.

Being booked on felonies and a $50k bond over something they’re calling a misunderstanding, also claiming “language barrier”, this will be interesting to see played out.

  2. This sounds like something that could have been handled with a citation? Or a stern talking to?

  3. It’ll get sorted soon, at a minimum the driver is getting fired and possibly deported

If someone says pull over you do so, period. Otherwise it’s kidnapping, and the self defense is justified

Jack Bauer would have just opened the door and bailed. And then cut someone’s head off.
