This is the new normal. First it will be internet shutdowns, then they’ll make a new controlled intra-net that everyone must sign up for with facial ID and fingerprints exactly as American GIs did with Iraqis and Afghanistanis. Then, even if the government collapses the data can be brokered off to terrorists, or other countries like Russia, China or Trump that want to buy slaves. This is what the DPRK does with great success.
