You know you can do it for merely suggesting it right? You don’t have to wait until we are in a war with nato to do something about it.

He has done plenty of impeachable acts, he has been threatening our allies and invaded Venezuela. Stop hinting. Do it now or admit that you support this bs.

    2. Trump: If you’re reading this…I don’t think you have the balls to try and take Greenland. Prove me wrong, you big pussy!

    3. zapperdumples on

Cool. Maybe try that *before* it gets to the point of attacking a peaceful NATO country?

Now would be a great time, in fact.

    4. SedlleVinee on

The fact that “invading another country” is even being floated in political rhetoric is wild. This isn’t strategy or leverage, it’s reckless and undermines any claim of serious leadership.

    5. futschikat0 on

Yeah sure. 3 people from the GOP would try something, the rest will remain silent to not anger the Dear Leader.

Also if he invades Greenland, the damage is done. Talking about attacking an ally alone should be sufficient for a bipartisan impeachment

    6. Several Republicans also spoke out about Jan 6th at the time and now those same people actively lie about it for their fascist cult leader.

Anyone who thinks this is going to be resolved peacefully either from Republicans waking up or free and fair midterm elections hasn’t been paying attention.

    7. GhoulLordRegent on

I’ll believe it when I see it. No one would be happier then me, but I trust nothing from DC.

    8. Just the fact that he’s threatening to do it should be grounds for impeachment.

    9. TheAardsnark on

Cool, so there are HINTS a few of the GOP will *consider* impeaching the madman *after* he starts WWIII. Good plan.

    10. justtakeapill on

It’ll just be Dems when it boils right down to it. The GOP love being tucked deep inside Trump’s colon.

Well I am sure that will be a big comfort to the Danish solders that will be murdered by Trump.

Hey here is an idea. Why don’t American politicians grow a spine and just impeach Trump before he murders anyone?

It’s beyond wild that European nations are actually sending troops to reinforce Greenland.

They are not taking this as a practice run right now.

    13. CerealSorority on

Imagine explaining to future generations that one of the constitutional crises started because somebody wanted to buy or invade Greenland. History books are gonna read like MAD LIBS.

    14. No_Succotash890 on

Maga needs to pick a side: yes to illegals or no to illegals? If we invade Greenland, we become the illegals. Right now, we are the illegals in Venezuela.

    15. Agressive-toothbrush on

Impeachment is easy, removal is hard… Removal requires two thirds vote in the Senate.

      > Claiming he would “lean toward” crossing party lines to remove Trump from the White House in such an event, Bacon said “there’s so many Republicans” angry about the President’s threats toward an longstanding U.S. ally.

You’d „lean toward“ it, huh? The correct response is „I would stand firmly and without hesitation in the camp that chooses to impeach the President“.

    17. anthematcurfew on

Some real 4d chess move is invading a country claiming you need it to defend against a future war only to result in a shooting war now that you instigated

    18. Coherent_Tangent on

He had his followers invade fucking Congress, and that couldn’t even get him convicted in the Senate. There is almost zero chance that invading Greenland would do it.

    19. International_Rope65 on

Gonna go out on a limb here and say it should be done before destroying the NATO alliance because once he invades, that’s dead and not going to be reforged no matter who is president. The damage will be done and America will be alone. Cut Trump down now before it becomes the worst possible outcome

    20. ThatGuyFromTheM0vie on

Can we do it…before…we destroy NATO? He’s already said he MUST have Greenland by any means necessary…surely that’s enough?

    21. This whole „just rhetoric“ / „wait until it actually happens“ attitude has a pretty ugly historical precedent. After WWI, Germany was explicitly barred from having tanks, an air force, or expanding its territory under the Treaty of Versailles. Then they rebuilt their military anyway… tanks, Luftwaffe… and nobody stopped them. Then they remilitarized the Rhineland. Still nothing. Then they annexed Austria. Still nothing. Then they took parts of Czechoslovakia, and the UK literally had them sign a treaty saying “okay, this is the last land grab,” and declared peace saved. Spoiler… it wasn’t. Germany invaded Poland in 1939 and then everyone acted, and by that point it was a full-scale world war.

Repeatedly waving off violations, threats, and norm-breaking as „just talk“ or „not worth acting on yet“ is how you normalize escalation. Waiting for the worst-case scenario before responding isn’t restraint, it’s negligence.

    22. What, attacking citizens with an armed Force wasn’t enough? How about withholding evidence that would possibly implicate him and other people? No? How about blatantly profiting off of American misery? Still not enough? Or could it be, you just want to reset the bar again? Freaking idiots

    23. Ok-disaster2022 on

Impeachment and removal should occur before such invasion buildup even takes place. If the DOD is staging an invasion or attack then generals should be reporting to Congress and if they do nothing there should be a military coup rather than invade an Ally.

    24. They’re all in a death pact, they’ll vote with Trump no matter what they say. Acting on Greenland is an out of NATO card Trump can play while they all save face because they voted to make it harder for the executive to unilaterally leave NATO. The base will support it like they always do and everyone will pay for it. And Trump will absolutely rename it some shit like Trumplandia, sell off the resources and host death camps for ICE as it’ll have some status that allows it with no oversite. Eventually having a penal work colony larger than the current population. The last half made up but sounds pretty plausible.

    25. How about Venezuela? Just going to let him usurp power and steal all their oil like it’s nbd?

    26. StrangerFew2424 on

Yea, right. They talk a big game but always fall in line behind their Orange Fuhrer…

The next line drawn in the sand that will be sheepishly replaced with another further down the beach.

    28. “Could” doing heavy lifting

    29. AmbivalentFanatic on

What about child rape or murder? Does that trigger anything at all besides my eternal and undying rage, you filth?

    30. Why not stop this POS BEFORE he completely fucks this country by attack NATO troops and an ally country???

    31. Why the fuck are we “hinting” at things instead of stopping him from starting WW3?

    32. Broken_By_Default on

His rhetoric alone deserves impeachment. Threatening invading our allies. How is that not a red line. You need to wait for him to order the General to attack our ally? Are you fucking kidding me?

You have to have the IQ of a fucking rock to still support Trump at this point.
