      Ok, the real story is that Sharon Tate’s sister said Jennifer Lawrence wasn’t pretty enough to play her. I don’t think Quentin Tarantino publicly agreed but maybe he took that into account.

      Did she mean that he said she was “too ugly” to play Sharon Tate, or that Margot Robbie looked more like her which is why she was cast?

      Think you can say this about anyone who doesn’t get a roll.
      Thats why they have casting directors cuz they want each person in a roll to look a certain way. lol

      I wonder if that’s why she got all that plastic surgery. She thinks her face is keeping her from getting roles. I can see that because when she was starting out I remember people used to say she looked like your neighbor not a Hollywood actor.

      The article says that Tarantino was actually good with casting Jennifer, but other people involved with the movie thought she wasn’t pretty enough to play Sharon Tate.

      “Well, he did [want to cast me], and then everybody was like, ‘She’s not pretty enough to play **Sharon Tate**,’ Lawrence claimed. ‚And then they didn’t.'“

      Even if it were true, are we trying to pretend it’s not perfectly normal, or rather PART OF THEIR JOB, for directors to cast partly on looks?

      I listen to what she said and I do t think she said anything like that…Quentin actually wrote a roll for her in the Hateful 8 and she turned it down…
