Lol 😀 What does ig or reddit tos say about content you upload?
[I tried solving this when I was 22](https://www.reddit.com/r/IRstudies/comments/1q6p630/arctic_eez_ownership_was_the_topic_of_my/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button). Great topic but scary that it’s starting to appear in the political timeline these days.
Santa does, Of course
Which „North Pole“? Last I heard, the Magnetic North Pole was making a run for Russia.
Aren’t their claims on bigger swathes of the arctic via undersea formations being connected to continental shelves?
Its mine. Not my country’s. Just mine. My personal property. You can’t go there. I store my snacks there and my pet polar bears. /s
I mean, Canada was basically [at war](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whisky_War) with Denmark for pretty near 50 years over this border.
Looks like Svalbard is next on Trump’s list.
Canada does. Even gave it a postal code. H0H 0H0
That’s not how territorial waters work.
Answer: Nobody. Better title: Who controls the Arctic Circle?
I do.
Santa Claus!
Lmao do you know that no one cares about that watermark on reddit lmao

# ME!
*“No one truly “controls” the North Pole.”*
A certain discolored ballsack-faced world leader might view this as a challenge and make a claim to try and be the first for that.
see how little power greenland has
Such heroism and sacrifice to have the map look like this after all the tragedies in the War over Hans Island.
fun fact, Russia has the world’s northernmost military base in Franz Josef Land (those islands to the northwest of Svalbard in Norway) – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nagurskoye_(air_base) , some news articles say it can maintain around 150 people stationed
regardless of Russia’s actions I think it’s kinda cool, in the same way that I find other polar stations in the Arctic & Antarctica cool.
Poland, as the name suggests.
Nobody…it was Santa’s territory the whole time
Everything there except Russia is a deep US ally with an agreement to defend US even with nukes if it comes to it.
The USA controls the Arctic and North Pole because of our alliance.
Why does a map of territories around the North Pole not include the North Pole itself?
The Waters
Complete opposite of Spratley islands then
Santa Clause and Polar Bears.
