Trump and the Japanese economy. It’s cost much more to go to US university because of declining yet and salaries not raising too much. Most families are unable to afford to send their children overseas.
Even if they do, Trump’s interference with US universities are making it more difficult to get into US universities. US universities are also suffering financially too.
Wonder how many simply no longer want to travel or study abroad, there have been articles showing passport applications are down and fewer students are fluent in a foreign language than in previous years.
