Look for the next container that is not completely overflowing. Don’t keep piling on.

Not a German, but living here. I’d say keep what you have and find a new location.

Id look for a different container and maybe even call the number on the containers and tell them about the overflow
Cultural_Set_7129 on
Mostly there is a Phone number anywhere around, you can inform that Containers are full.
Correct German protocol say – call the number, wait for further instructions.

Call the company in charge of Glas containers in your county. Karl Meyer in this case. Number is on the container

If that’s an one-time thing like after New Year’s just keep your bottles for a week or two until these are emptied again. If it’s a regular thing I would contact the city administration or garbage disposal company. In my city there’s an app where people can report trash or other problems around the city.

Do not keep piling, if it’s full it’s full. Someone has to clean that up and it’s going to be very annoying for them. Find another container or wait until it is emptied.

There is a phone number and e-mail on the „Karl Meyer“ Sticker. Just contact them!

As a German If you have space in the cellar Just Store them there until you can throw them away. If you dont have space….keep pilling on….all Containers near you will most likely Look the Same. I dont think anyone can reasonably expect you to Go searching for alternatives.

Still haven’t received a response to my inquiry. I faxed a laminated form weeks ago.

I especially don’t recommend to pile the glasses on the container or in front of. Unloading happens by picking up them

No you go to the next one that should not be far away

I would not search for a different place, they look the same around here. That’s because of the holidays.
If you have the space, just keep your things for a week, but most wouldn’t judge you for piling on.

Keep your trash at home until the containers are empty, at least that’s how I do it

I have to carry my bottles on foot. So no way I would carry them back home to the 4th floor.

When I did this I waited and then my son’s teacher asked the class for empty glass jars so I washed 14 in my dishwasher and donated them lol

I assume some company is responsible and paid for keeping it ready for use. Sure, if you don’t like to keep empty glass bottles at home I wouldn’t hesitate to recycle even in this situation. Commune administration obligated citizens to recycle only to those containers and didn’t charge then with further tasks except for adherence to few rules, like allowed hours of disposal.
