Hallo,

Ich reise von Indien in die Schweiz mit einem Aufenthalt von 2 Stunden und 20 Minuten in Frankfurt.

Reicht diese Aufenthaltszeit aus, um durch die Einreisekontrolle zu kommen und den nächsten Flug zu besteigen?

Sollte ich außerdem mein aufzugebendes Gepäck abholen, es beim Zoll in Frankfurt scannen lassen und das Gepäck dann erneut aufgeben?

    ~~You don’t pass immigration and~~ your bags will be transferred automatically. Assuming no delays, you have plenty of time.

    Yes, that time will suffice under normal circumstances. Immigration waiting times vary, but I would feel comfortable with a layover of at least 90 minutes (I think 45 minutes ist the official minimum connection time, but that would indeed be stressful).

    No need to collect your baggage.

    yes normally should be enough. You’ll clear immigartion in Frankfurt but customs in Zürich. Your baggage will be transfered directly to Zürich in Frankfurt.

  4. The Distances in Frankfurt can be quite far. However as you do need to pass Immigration (They have a fast track for short connections), my experience is, that stopovers above 90 Minuten should be possible without running in Frankfurt. My shortes connection there was 35 Minuten and me and my bag but made it into the next aircraft.
