    1. The Ravings of a Madman. People get all bent out of shape talking about how awesome the US Military is and how many Nukes they have but forget > You are talking about using them against allies and that casualties will happen on both sides. What sane person’s first response would be bravado in this scenario. We’re talking about acts of war against countries the US has been allied with for 80 years. All because Dementia Donnie wants to make a map meme for how he’d be remembered. Renaming Gulf of Mexico wasn’t enough and now needs to put stars and stripes on the homes of 60000 people of an Allied Nation. Get bent and Go kick Rocks moron.

      Only 56%.

It’s the same 56% who always respond in a sane way. Unfortunately we seldom get higher than that.

A large number of Americans seem to forget that a war with NATO will also involve a war with the madmen to their north – just across the world’s longest unguarded border…

This won’t be another ‚foreign war‘ fought thousands of miles away. There *will* be fighting on American soil for the first time in two centuries.

One good thing about Trump’s demolition of the White House – makes it a smaller target for when they burn it down this time!

So what? We have THREE MORE YEARS of this shit. Thanks rural America, high school dropouts, evangelical and nutcase fundies. But fret not. You’ll get yours.

    5. Donald Trump finally admitted the true motivation behind his obsession with „owning“ Greenland, explicitly stating that full ownership is „psychologically needed for success“ and „psychologically important for me.“ By prioritizing his personal mental state over a 75-year alliance with Denmark and the democratic rights of 57,000 Greenlanders, Trump is displaying the textbook definition of toxic narcissism—treating an entire nation as a trophy to be „owned“ rather than a sovereign ally. Despite having full military access through existing NATO treaties, he has threatened to take the island „the hard way“ if he isn’t given the title deed, proving that this isn’t about national security or Arctic strategy, but rather a desperate attempt to satisfy his own ego with the „biggest deal in history“ at the expense of global stability.

The solution to American problems will never be found through government or military intervention; it’s found through the resolve of the American people. We are a nation of 330 million citizens, and we are the ultimate authority in this country.
If we feel our rights are being eroded and our voices ignored, then it is up to us—the majority—to stand up, organize, and reclaim the power that has always belonged to the people. We don’t need a savior; we need to remember that our elected officials work for us, not the other way around. It’s time we stop waiting for someone else to fix this and start acting like the majority we are
What is it going to take for us as citizens to say screw all this, stand up, and take our country back? Our rights being systematically taken away, we are being lied to, our government is gaslighting, the establishment complicit in their silence and non action. Our government is showing us everyday, we as the majority in our own country mean nothing, money and power mean everything.
We are the majority, we are the ones who need to be demanding that our elected officials are working for us. WE HAVE TO TAKE BACK OUR POWER.

The disapproval rating will go higher. 56% is still a majority and equates to lots of millions of people not supporting what’s going on.

That’s with a whopping 71% of Republican respondents answering “about right” rather than “too far” or “not far enough” in response to whether he has gone too far using the military to intervene in other countries. After Venezuela. Even though 89% of them said that our role in foreign affairs was “its current role is about right” or “a less active role” in September.

This methodology is bonkers because obviously support for action in Palestine, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Iran is almost split among party lines, so the questions were asked when completely different “foreign intervention” is in the news cycle. So this January one, respondent will assume it’s re:Venezuela, and in September it was re:Other Interventions.

That FIFA Peace prize was about as useful as a giving Hitler and award for manners in 1939.

Why do people think any “military plots” are acceptable at all??

It’s insane that at least 30% of the population doesn’t agree with “live and let live”.

Naw. This gives maga something to foam at the mouth about while they forget that their grocery prices are still skyrocketing, the Epstein files have been successfully buried for good, and Trump is threatening to invade multiple countries. Ours included.

Gone too far? Hell, I think it’s time to start talking about regime change.

Democrats need to completely overhaul education if they’re allowed to get into power again. Force these dumb maga fucks to read a history book, goddamn.

Where are the elected officials? Are they too busy looking at their portfolios?

    18. darth_helcaraxe_82 on

Yeah and the military is still going to follow their orders.

The only ones who have the power to stop it, are the people. Congress no matter the midterms are not going to save the people.

Today two GOP Senators, Josh Hawley of Missouri and Todd Young of Indian, caved and voted against the war powers resolution to limit further attacks on Venezuela, causing Vance to break the 50-50 deadlock to dismiss the bill. In light of all that has been happening in just this past week alone, it is absolutely mind boggling how any member of Congress can continue to enable this tyrannical toddler in chief. When will they learn that appeasing a bully does not work? Didn’t most of us learn when we were in the second grade?
