So what’s the difference between him and pootin? NATO has left the building ladies and gentlemen.

    2. idwtumrnitwai on

Trump intent on starting WW3 and or causing the collapse of the US, I can’t believe people voted for this incompetent criminal.

    3. Its like when Russia went into Ukraine and people said why are russians letting this happen.

Well citizens of the US, why are you doing this?

    4. Hashtagworried on

Why is this even a topic of conversation? If he’s really as good as he thinks he is, he’d be able to negotiate a deal where there is no need for a hostile takeover.

    5. Mountainenthusiast2 on

Fuck this man. 79 and still not matured enough beyond the behaviour of a toddler.

    6. It’s wild to me that, at this moment in time, we can basically use „Trump“ and „US“ interchangeably because the rest of the US government has decided to surrender all its power to him.

Like if someone said „Starmer intent on invading Norway“ or „Pedro Sánchez intent on invading Portugal,“ they would get laughed out of the room… because we know that rational governments would shut any such ideas down immediately.

But that is not the case in the US.

Putins #1 item is to get rid of NATO. This is exactly what he wants so trump is playing right in to it.

    8. ThatchedRoofCottage on

Will no one rid us of this troublesome president?

Congress, you listening? Grow a pair and remove him.

    9. Kind_Relative812 on

He needs to be removed….voluntarily or kicking and screaming, either way he needs to go.

    10. A country with 350 million people and 250 years of history, yet all we ever hear is „Trump, Trump, Trump.“ It’s impressive how one person seems to run the entire country single-handedly, while everyone else either stays silent or competes to see who can kiss the emperor’s ring the hardest. It’s always „Trump wants this“ and „Trump wants that,“ and the rest of you in the U.S. just seem to fall in line.

What a strange country and people you are.

Congress needs to put a stop to it. If they don’t, we need to vote out the conspirators. I trust our military commanders will agree that attacking an ally is not a lawful order.

    12. Same kind of messages the Canadian one said about making them the 51st state.

Trumps words aren’t some 4d chess game. He’s literally saying all this in private too. It’s insane.

    13. Putan is intent on ending NATO and using his puppet trump to do it via this take over of greenland bs

    14. Civil_Philosophy9845 on

So can Trump really control this decision alone? lets conquer greenland -> and it happens?

    15. “We don’t want to be neighbors with Russia.”

How do you forget that we are already neighbors with Russia?

    16. True_Dog_4098 on

The United States is currently imploding, soon they won’t be able to conquer anyone.

    17. madogvelkor on

Only 17% of Americans support annexing Greenland (not even a majority of Republicans do). And only 4% of Americans support taking it by force. Even 92% of Republicans are against taking Greenland by force.

Though really a lot of Americans aren’t paying attention. 36% of all Americans don’t know if the US should annex Greenland and 25% don’t know if taking it by force is a good idea or not.

Give him a gun, put him on a boat and pat his shoulder. Go on, you loco pedo, go conquer verdelandia

    19. How many thousands of our brave sons and daughters will soon perish upon the icy shores of a foreign land just to make the orange tumour chortle with malign glee?

    20. ThatHotAsian on

These fucking spineless Republican fucks in congress need to grow a pair and impeach this pedophile already. Trump knows midterms are gonna be terrible for the GOP and is trying to stop elections with this stupid ass conflict.

    21. Prize_Compote_207 on

Its. Cheaper. To. Let. Denmark. Keep. It. And. Theyre. Our. Ally.

Explain it language Conservatives will understand.

Then again, they dont seem to understand allies or friendship in general.

    22. Musicferret on

Hey Americans….. better start that general strike now while there’s still a world.

    23. saharanwrap on

They need to be absolutely clear. Subtlety goes over dumps head. They need to stand at at podium and just clearly say „any action against Greenland will create a state of war between the United States and Denmark.“ Drawing that line in the sand will likely make the moderate republicans (I’m aware the word moderate is doing some Olympic lifting) finally stand up to him. Support for taking Greenland is already so low among trump supporters, framing it as declaring war against Europe instead of seizing an island might clear things up for them.

Because right now that’s how they’re seeing it. They’re just taking an island away from somebody who doesn’t even use it.

    24. Mangalorien on

They must be running out of champagne in Beijing and Moscow by now, from all the celebrating.

    25. It’s Trump. Changing his mind would take a minor miracle.

Keep an eye on Trump, of course, but keep a better eye on the ones surrounding him. They’re the real movers these days.

    26. Mattmann1972 on

Does anyone else find it ironic that America is the only country to enact article 5 of the UN charter, and will also be kicked out of it for being the reason for the second enactment of that same article?

    27. CycloneMonkey on

Of all the impeachable offenses, I figured „invading an ally“ ought to top it, no?

    28. AnonAmbientLight on

This is why someone’s character matters when you consider them for office.

That translates to things like this, where clearly Greenland and the Danish say “no” and Trump won’t take no for an answer

Like when Trump raped those women and children.
