      I.e. Fuck off with your blatant attack on sovereignty, Greenland is not yours to take. As a Dane that spent years living in the US and always had a lot of respect for that country, there isn’t much left.

      Krasnov wants Greenland because he has been instructed to conquer it by his boss, Putin, for the following reasons.

      1: It breaks Nato and the Western Alliance and will cause an armed conflict between Europe and the US.

      2: Putin and Krasnov want Greenland for the rare earth minerals. After the summit in Alaska, a European intelligence agency distributed a hard-copy report in a manila envelope to some of the continent’s most senior national security officials, who were shocked by the contents: Inside were details of the commercial and economic plans the Trump administration had been pursuing with Russia, including jointly mining rare earths in the Arctic.

      3: Krasnov keeps trying to f*ck Ukraine over to give victory to Moscow but so far Europe and the UK and Nato have stopped him. If he invades Greenland he can stop selling weapons to Ukraine through PURL.

      At no point has China or Russia made any move towards Greenland and any peace plan with Ukraine would include non-aggression clauses, this is Putin’s Plan B to f*ck up the Western alliance and Nato.

      Remember, Putin owns Trump (Krasnov) like a dog.

      This is simply a trojan horse to start dismembering nato.

      Militarily speaking, US already could do what they want with Greenland, they want political annexation precisely because Denmark would fight over it for internal optics.

      Denmark will declare Greenland independent with a sham referendum before actually letting some of their own land be formally stolen by the US.

      I read (of course no source) that 17% Americans are for annexation, even less for military intervention… So its not that whole US has difference with Denmark

      This is so sketchy. It’s like the posturing, feinting, and ego that erupted in WWI. So many moving pieces against a massive fragile ego is a dangerous mix. I doubt anyone wants to go to war (even the whackos in Washington), but with all the tension it just takes one false move to strike the match.

      Fundamental differences with Trump* , the US as a whole agrees with Denmark we just haven’t gotten the momentum right to stop him

      Fundamental difference being that they don’t want to have their sovereignty taken away and be forcefully absorbed into the shit show that the U.S. currently is.
