    1. Instead of taking Greenland, can trump attack Iran first, at least it would be the best thing he would’ve done in his presidency

Well.. who could benefit from destroying NATO? This KGB operation plays out too well.

I wish blue states would take a stand against this. If the US attacks a NATO ally i hope that my state would leave the union and stay with NATO.

Although terrifying, I think it’s touching to see EU and NATO stand together against a common enemy

I don’t think people should freak out. I think we are just trying to speak Trump language, NATO troops on Greenland should be seen as a ‚NO GO‘ now that he is clearly not responding to human language.

I can’t wait for Trump to proclaim that he single handedly increased NATO’s armed presence on Greenland, deterring Russia & China.

Worlds gearing up for WW3 and we’re the axis this time. I fucking hate it I hope they [redacted] the Whitehouse

Now I’m worried about troops being somewhere and something happening where they won’t be. I’m not enjoying 2026.

Germany is sending a reconnaissance team – 13 soldiers.

      reconnaissance – *noun*

      1. military observation of a region to locate an enemy or ascertain strategic features.

Hmm, ascertain strategic features. Makes sense before deploying a larger force.

    10. So many of my friends in my country are still like ‚it won’t be war‘. I feel insane. Everything and I mean everything is pointing to it now.

This almost makes me cry. My newly departed danish grandfather had been terrorised by the nazis during WWII. To see how far we have come together in a generation is truly incredible. Sure, the orange hat in America is going backwards, but we are going forwards together. Thank you, Germany 🇩🇪

If European leaders want to be serious about this shit, then Europe needs to do the following:

Make a very loud public statement that Europe is going start dumping US Treasury Securities. The UK for example holds 3/4 of a trillion dollars in US Treasury Securities. If Europe did this, it would immediately cause the US dollar to collapse and all this Trump Nazi shit would stop immediately. And I mean immediately. The US has the strongest military in the world, but what good is that if you can’t feed and pay your army.

Yes, there would be some pain in the short term in Europe and in world markets. But in the long term, all this US imperialism bullshit would end. As an American, it pains me to say this but the US cannot lead anymore. The US has thrown away its trust and the world cannot trust the US anymore. The only people that the US can blame is ourselves. Let someone else lead, it’s time.

    13. The U.S. has money to start WW3 but we still can’t afford healthcare, groceries, and education

    14. Now I’m wondering if Greenland is the shiny object to give Xi a window to take Taiwan while eyes and resources are elsewhere.

      God I hate all this.

Europe prepares to defend itself from potential attacks from russia and the USA. A couple of years ago this would be the plot to a silly spy novel. Now it’s real.

Good guy Germany bad guy USA

My ww2 veteran grandfather would be perplexed by the timeline we live in. In a way I’m glad he’s not here to see it

    17. A broad European tripwire defence force is wise

If the US wants to take it, they should have to kill Brits, kill German, kill French, kill troops of every nation. Make the costs so high for them.
