You are skipping the big part that only ~15% are against it.
We don’t live in a democracy anymore. It doesn’t matter what people think, no consent is required.
Regardless of the numbers, surveys like this are obscene.

As a non-US citizen its alarming that more than half couldnt outright say ’no‘ to aquiring anothing country. Do people in the US not realize other people dont want to be American?

The claims of using force have come from the media, not the White House.
