      Monero is superior in tech to Bitcoin plus tons of people actually use Monero so I’m not surprised. I have a decent sum of XMR myself

      Edit: one key piece of evidence of it being superior is the possibility of it being banned. The privacy tech (in addition to everything Bitcoin can do) is too powerful and scary for some people to handle. It’s like how it’s fine constitutionally to let everyone own a musket but we have to suppress everyone from having machine guns. Like oh no, that’s a little too much crypto math for us to process as a society. That’s just one elliptic curve too far.
