Indonesia doesn’t ban X, only Grok. Those two should be differentiated better in the map.

>Countries that have banned X include China, Iran, Russia and Myanmar, where authorities argue the platform threatens state control or public order. Meanwhile, a growing group of countries have placed X under investigation or regulatory scrutiny, including the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, India, Brazil, and Australia.

Why did Canada ban X? They speak English, so how do they say words like toxic or sex?

The other day I saw an Afghan publication and all government accounts of the Taliban began to appear in the TL. They are fully disseminating public works.

Very interesting map, from a glance it looks like the usual group of countries with a few interesting ones sprinkled in there.

Also added to this should be all the countries that X has complied with Government orders to censor the platform. Its the only reason it’s not already banned in places like Turkey and India.

„Under scrutiny“, or in other words, not banned? What does „under scrutiny“ even mean?
It’s stupid to include that that on a map of places where X is banned.

X needs to be banned altogether.
All it does is cause discourse and create echo chambers, further widening the gap between our already divisive societies.
The funny thing is that Khamenei has a Twitter account, despite Twitter being banned in Iran.

I think it’s worth differentiating who’s banned it back when it was Twitter (like China) and who’s only put it under scrutiny under its current ownership

Bann it asap in Europe. Cease Musk’s assets as wel of those from Tesla and arrest this fuck if he ever has the gall to land a plane here.

To me it’s very telling the Russia and China banned Twitter, for “free speech” I’m sure. But really we know it’s a troll farm that is bad for society, now designed to specifically create dissent and chaos and should be banned everywhere

Is that the website owned by Elon musk that recently was in the news because his platform allows people to be undressed by his AI?

How does the scrutiny works? For example, if your IP address is UK then would the contents you see differ from other IP addresses?
