Ich habe diese E-Mail letzte Woche erhalten. Laut dem Schreiben kann mein Arbeitgeber keine weiteren Arbeitnehmer einstellen, hält es jedoch für ein Missverständnis, da er normalerweise keine Mitarbeiter entlässt. Ich habe auch gesehen, dass die E-Mail an mich und mehrere Mitarbeiter im Unternehmen sowie an andere Mitarbeiter in verschiedenen Restaurants gesendet wurde. Ist jemand schon einmal auf dieses Problem gestoßen? Hat der Arbeitgeber es geschafft, das Problem zu beheben? Wie lange hat es gedauert? Mussten Sie sich erneut bewerben und erneut 600 Euro bezahlen? Lass es mich bitte wissen

Better to ask questions like this in Expats Malta on Facebook there are people there who know way more about these things than basically anyone here.
That being said from what I read about this so far I don’t think there is much you can do. The appeal process would take ages and you’d have to be in Malta during it without working rights still. Your employer is probably wrong about them not firing many people and even if they are not… the appeal process takes ages as I said.
