      Scott Moe is on this trip, so I guarantee that dropping EVs for dropping the Canola tariffs is the basic plan.

      Frankly, the west is getting hit hard on the tariffs (with minimal impact on Ontario) , so I’m appreciative of Carney trying to do something.

      since it’s paywalled, I have no idea what the former diplomat’s reasoning is.

      There is a value that is less than 100%, something more like EU levels, along with a quota / local production credit that should be a compromise poaition…
      Like one low or no tarrif import for each built here, or for each built here and exported from here?
