And you think that’s some sort of deterrent? He’s been bad mouthing NATO from the get go, I’ll bet Putin never imagined how wildly successful his stooge would turn out to be…

Trump doesn’t care about NATO, the rules-based order, or anything the EU holds sacred. Europe needs a serious strategy to deter him, instead of trying to make him care about things he doesn’t care about and never will.

There are 40 US bases in Europe and about 80,000 personnel who will all be required to leave if the US leaves or gets booted from NATO.

I sadly fear this is what is about to happen. Trump will want to force Greenland even if its citizens don’t want it

If nato ends then Russia can attack a nato country and the USA doesn’t have to respond. How convenient

  6. U think Americans would assume they can just continue to come on holidays to Europe after they invaded Greenland?

  7. Yeah, that’s what he’s hoping for. Trump got his orders from his case officer, Putin. Just remove us from NATO and continue the alliance.

The worst part is: he doesn’t even need to invade Greenland,it’s an ally.If he wants more military there or build another military base,it’s already allowed to do that.

  9. Putin didn’t recruit Agent Krasnov for funsies. This is exactly why all that Russian money was flowing to the Trumps since the beginning.

  10. So I guess the question is how NATO will handle the US attacking it and how quickly they can be completely removed. Like it seems like they’d need to start a separate non-US alliance now just so that they wouldn’t be sharing intel or defensive plans with the US in advance or have them part of the command structure before a war breaks out.

On one hand, I almost hope Americans finally tear down their own empire because only then might Europe breathe without Washington’s boot on its neck.

This so-called “alliance” has long been nothing more than domination dressed up as protection.
On the other hand, I fear Europe’s cowardice. If Europe reacts the way it did with Ukraine, paralyzed, obedient, waiting for orders from across the Atlantic, then Europe deserves its fate. A continent that cannot act without permission is not a continent, it’s a dependency.

Let’s be brutally honest: as long as the United States occupies Europe militarily, Europe is not sovereign. It is managed. Supervised. Kept on a leash.
American bases must leave Europe. Not “eventually.” Not “after consultations.” Now. Because you cannot speak of democracy, independence, or strategic autonomy while foreign troops are permanently parked on your soil.

Europe doesn’t need another protector. It needs a spine.

  12. The EU should make note that Trump will be required to remove ALL US forces, all personnel, equipment, from all of the bases they have in the EU and their territories, putting the US at an extreme disadvantage should those places be needed, then make invading Greenland as costly as humanly possible.

The trump agent theory is becoming more likely by the day

It’s single-handedly the most devastating blow to U.S global presence in it’s history. No American should be supporting this. It’s such a colossal blunder that you’d have to pause and ask why the hell anyone would want this? Seriously… I get some people suck at geopolitics or even Risk… but FFS this is playground levels of strategy they are failing at.

Surrendering all soft power, all tactical positions on the board and spurning all of our once ironclad allies?

What the actual fuck? Seriously… MAGA, Trump, his advisors… what in the world do you see as any benefit? The resources that’ll come out of the ice melting? You really think that’s going to tilt the balance compared to what you’re throwing away?

We’ll be blind, our logistics chains will be gone… but hey at least we can fortify a whole bunch and lash out and steal shit when we need to. What could possibly go with wrong that strategy?

There has never been a more dangerous threat to the U.S existence than Trump and his cronies playing at warlords.

Tucker Carlson, that f-wit, thinks this is part of a master plan to ally Russia, a white and Christian nation with the US to defeat China. The timeline reads like the prequel to Orwell’s 1984.

In George Orwell’s 1984, the world is divided into three perpetually warring totalitarian superstates: Oceania, Eurasia, and Eastasia. The war between them is not for victory but to maintain a permanent state of emergency that justifies their absolute control over their populations.

    Fixed the headline for you.
