This administration is pure fucking evil. Way to revert on your allies, fascist America. Way to go, the entire world collectively hates you .

This country is a joke and should be treated no better than Russia.

This administration’s reminding me more and more of a certain mustache man. Figured it’s be bad but sucks to be right.

    „Statehood“

I cannot imagine that they’d actually expect Greenland to vote in favour of Republicans on… practically anything, honestly, so I can only treat this as further confirmation that they’re not planning to let elections matter any more in the future.

Will this bill actually pass? I’m not overly familiar with US legislative procedures. From what I understand, Democrats would oppose as well as about half of Republicans?

I can only hope that history condemns every single one of these spineless dickriders.

Can MAGA finally admit that they’re the same bunch of neocons that was cheering on the Bush administration?

  10. I can’t believe this is viewed as a viable option. Mid-terms will be ugly for the republicans. It’s embarrassing to be an American right now.

  11. The honest title would read: Greenland Annexation and Statehood Act to Gain Their Mineral Wealth and Cement Trump’s Legacy

  12. If Russia or China actually tried to take Greenland, US and NATO would shut that shit down. Security my ass.

  13. I honestly wonder what Canadians think about it all. If US invades Greenland, Canada will be surrounded from 3 sides and even shipping/military access to the ocean will be controlled by the giant US-owned cork in the bottle.

On the European side: I think it is time to start with personal sanctions.

List of adversaries includes Canada, the U.K., Denmark, and the rest of NATO.

“For too long, American leadership stood by while our adversaries chipped away at our geopolitical dominance,” Congressman Fine continued.

So you’re going to respond by attacking our allies? I’m sure that’ll do wonders for our geopolitical dominance.

America: We don’t care what China or Russia do
Also America: We need to invade an ally and destroy NATO because we care what China and Russia will do.

    Time for the recap again:

The last Danish soldier left Afghanistan in 2021 after two decades of presence. Denmark continuously served in ISAF between 2002 and 2013. Danes, Brits and Estonians (among others) were the ones who held Helmand province down with the US. At its peak Denmark had 760 soldiers stationed in Helmand. Helmand is widely considered to have been the most difficult and dangerous region covered during the entire war, to a point where other coalition members refused to send their troops there or pulled them out. The Danish service in Helmand is said to have been nothing short of excellent.

9,918 Danish soldiers deployed to Afghanistan a total of ~18,000 times. 214 were injured, 43 fell and no one knows how many were scarred for life. Although there are studies on suicidality and PTSD in Danish veterans and they’re pretty grim.

Denmark had the highest amount of fatalities per million inhabitants out of the entire coalition. 7.82 per million to be exact, only the US had slightly more. (7.96 per million)

Denmark only has 6 million inhabitants, but stood with the US in both Iraq, and most noticeably Afghanistan, for two decades. This is betrayal and backstabbing on another level.

Highly recommend the following documentaries. Not easy to watch, but worth it.

That’s BS and he knows it. If the US wanted to “strengthen national security” by annexing Greenland, it would have been done during the Cold War.

He’s been in the news a lot lately. Seems he likes to say the cruelest or most bombastic things he can to catch Trump’s attention.

Never thought I would miss republicans, but I’m really missing Mitt Romey and John McCain right about now. At least you could have a respectful debate with them and still walk away liking them as a person. There’s nothing redeemable about Randy Fine.

I think this needs to go to a vote of the people. They don’t want to hear from us. We don’t need fucking Greenland we don’t need Venezuela. They need it not us citizens. This just proves the world is cyclical and history repeats itself. China is about to do the same shit we’re currently doing and what the fucking broke ass Russians are doing to Ukraine. This administration is over stepping the bounds time to do something about it.

  21. Denmark is our enemy now? There were few things that the D and R parties could always agree on. The importance of NATO was near the top of the list.

  22. Congressman Fine should be named persona non grata by all NATO member countries.

  23. misdirected_asshole on

Even after this administration is gone, we have lost the right to ever be taken seriously as a country again for like the next 50 years.

  24. This gives carte blanche to Russia to continue pillaging and annexing Ukraine (and potentially others) since ‘every superpower is doing it’.

Translation: how to violate an ally’s sovereignty, turning all your allies into adversaries.

Seriously – America has to deal with its stupid problem.

  26. Florida loves to elect brown nosers. Fine’s face is covered in Trump shit just as conservatives love it.

    Release the Epstein files!

  27. No surprise it’s some backwater Florida dipshit trying to win points with Der Fuhrer.

  28. What adversaries…? The US is punching itself in the face and acting like the world is out to get ‚em.

  29. Fine is an obese piece of shit that only cares about one thing. It’s not the American 🇺🇸 people. We all know who it is,
