      I bet that ballroom was that 3rd or 4th building Powell was referencing in their construction cosplay interview a while ago. Trump threw that in there to see if anyone noticed and scoffed it away when Powell mentioned it. Now here we are.

      This one’s pretty big. If they tumble the fed and install one of Trump’s toadies, they will continually cut interest rates which is an incredibly bad idea right now. For all their complaining about „fiat currency“ and „zimbabwe inflation“, this is how you get those things.

      This is bad. The charges aren’t gonna go anywhere or mean anything, but this is a warning shot to the world that they are coming to an end of having reliably independent Federal Reserve.

      It’s gonna take a bat to market confidence and I dont know if it will recover, even in a decade

      This might just be the blow that marks the beginning of the end of American economic supremacy

      A functional DOJ doesn’t make threats and frankly doesn’t lose any cases either.

      The fact that this DOJ attempts to use its judicial power to silence critics and constantly loses in court tells a story.
