If time travel is possible, it has already affected our timeline every possible way it could. That could also mean it can’t affect our timeline and instead creates AUs
I like Terrance McKennas take, time travel could only take you back to the moment time travel was invented, no further.
Given that actions of a time traveler in the past affect the present from which they traveled… Just reason it out a little.
Suppose the first time traveler has gone to the past and altered it somehow. That past is now the exact past which lead to the time traveler traveling in time, so nothing changed. If that altered past is now not what lead to the time traveler, then the exact series of events leading up to the time traveler traveling in time never transpired and never ended in time traveler traveling in time, so now the time traveler has never gone back in time and has never altered the past somehow, so also nothing has changed.
I’m going back to the mid to late 90s and staying..
I’m like 15% sure that kid in Pennsylvania was a time traveler who failed in his mission. That’s why they shut down all talk about it.
I talk to myself in the past and future all the time. It can be lame because while you think you would be able to learn whatever you wanted, you’re just stuck helping people because you can’t let the world end.
Could be worse tho
😔
Tbf the term trump was coined in the 16th century, so it being the name of this book isn’t that crazy .
Time travel to the past is impossible according to known physics. But things that were once thought to be impossible have been proven possible.
Time travel would probably not affect the reality the traveler came from.
