      lol. Here’s the first line of an email I recently received. Sender didn’t even bother to check the reply. The email I sent was a forecast for 2026. The reply just regurgitated my email and agreed with it. I should have said that I should get a 10,000 bonus. The reply would have said yes. lol.

      *Here’s a laid-back reply you can send that fits the same tone:*

      For sure – law enforcement and the legal system learning the facts after action has already been taken always goes really well for citizens. The system always owns up to its mistakes, right?

      This is one of the biggest problems with AI: an ignorant public.

      This cop (and I’m sure millions of other citizens) is equating a decent UX with software fidelity and it makes me want to pull my goddamned hair out.

      Most people have no idea what UI is or isn’t capable of. They just see an “easy button” and roll with it in ignorant bliss.

      Fucking yikes.

      If the police report were used in a trial, I wonder if the defendant could get off simply on the basis that the police report is factually incorrect and therefore can’t be trusted. Obviously they caught it in time for this one, but I wonder how many of these errors won’t be caught and make it into a trial.

      It’s a good thing the police are so thorough at their job always seek alternative paths before taking the simplest, and double check everything. /s

      An Officer’s job has not changed. They have always been required to write reports about what happened. They used to write bare bones reports, and say nothing else happened or add additional facts that suited them. Why do they suddenly need all this technology? The difference is now with body cams the defense attorneys actually know what really happened and they can actually call out officers who lie about it. Suddenly the officers have to actually know what happened and write a report to remind themselves so they don’t screw themselves over on the stand.
