      >“In granting this relief, the Court seeks to restore the proper balance of power among the Executive Branch, the states, and Congress envisioned by the Framers,“ the court said.

Oh that’d be nice. Restoring the proper balance of power and stopping the constant overreaches of Trump’s power would be great.

Can we do that sooner than later? Please?

Republicans seem very concerned about the midterms. Trump himself has said he fears impeachment should Democratic candidates win, the same way Elon said he’d go to jail if they won in 2024. They blurt out the truth sometimes if you pay attention.

The evidence in the Epstein Files must be so horrific and overwhelming that they’re willing to literally start hot wars in multiple countries, and wage war against the American people in the streets of suburban America to distract from the truth. All at the same time, „flooding the zone“ as Steve Bannon calls it, to distract from the awful truths of what these lunatics are doing with their power.

If SCOTUS decides to get involved in this it might be the final nail in the coffin of US democracy.

    4. this is a massive win for democracy..The judge nailed it. no president can mess with our right to vote.

    5. It’s amazing how the same people who excoriated Obama for wanting to do things they only imagined, are thrilled to pieces when Trump does them.

I appreciate these states fighting for the rights of all Americans. My state is so far up Trump’s ass they can tell you if Trump cleans his dentures properly.

      >“The President has no authority to unilaterally impose new conditions on federal funds or ‚thwart congressional will by canceling appropriations passed by Congress,'“ the judge wrote, citing precedent.

nice to hear a judge say this.

Nobody is going to vote for this guy. He’s an incompetent, demented crook. Shooting people in the street, screwing up the economy and using taxpayer money to invade other countries so he and his billionaire cronies can steal the profits isn’t going to win any votes.

    9. I know a lot is going on right now. Please STOP SPENDING OUR MONEY. we are in A LOT OF DEBT. Other countries are going to stop trading with America’s dollar.

What I don’t understand about the Epstein Files, is no deadman plan.

You have information at a spy agency level on potentially hundreds or more of some of the most powerful people in the world. Not just the bad things they did (that you curated for them) but the very network of who knew who and so forth.

And you have no deadman plan for if you get offed. No cousin that digs wells in South America no one knows about, no second or third layer of people who have thumb drives, or encrypted servers. People who you know that don’t even have access to what you know, but would be informed, should something happen to you.

Like, a plan like that would not only provide you power, but would keep you alive. I mean even if you leaked a tiny fraction to the right people, it would scare the pants off anyone else. Like, „If my appendix bursts, this goes out. Even I cannot stop it should I die unexpectedly.“

Even a server that dumps if you don’t log into it at least once every month.

Nope. Nothing. No one to simply dump a few thumb drives to AP, Reuters, BBC, a number of ad agencies that could just publish or place billboards…

…nothing. Even my dumb ass would have something that would drop. Doesn’t have to be fancy.

He has to be alive. That’s all I can think.

Anyone else think this is strangely odd?

I’m fine with no mail vote , but then make election a week long instead of 1 day

This is an interesting injunction since most of his legislation is by executive order.

His attempts to re write the rules in his favor are sad and pathetic. Just like him.

Until SCOTUS weighs in and says “Well John Adam’s was a lawyer and he just forgot to write in his true belief that the President is in charge of all elections…therefore owing to his original intent Trump can do what he wants”

6-3, with Thomas writing for the majority from the Caymans.

      PSA about vote fraud:

Mail-in ballot fraud would have to be 100,000 times worse just to reach 0.4%

Voter ID fraud would have to be 1,000 times worse just to reach 2.3%

Every state needs to set up mail in voting if they want to ICE this president.
