      I feed the pigeons. I sometimes feed the sparrows too. It gives me an enormous sense of well being and then I’m happy for the rest of day. Safe in the knowledge that there always will be a little part of my heart devoted to it.

      Amazing how five police officers can turn up to arrest people for feeding pidgeons or being mean on social media, but if your house gets burgled or your phone or bike get snatched, suddenly they’re all just too busy to bother to turn up.

      Why are we so obsessed with breaking very simple rules? This isn’t 1984, it’s not unreasonable to want to keep the vermin population down.

      People annoyed about this because it’s a minor issue which it is in comparison to other crimes sure but equally that doesn’t give you a blanket rule to do whatever you want.

      People seem to throw their arms up whenever their idea of a criminal isn’t the person in handcuffs but the reality is that this person had every opportunity to just follow a simple rule

      There are many scales of pigeon feeding offenders. There’s many a folk who just chuck them a few bits of seed and watch to the ones that dump an entire food waste bin or loaf of bread in plastic and naff off or last nights curry or pizza even the odd pork chop or a 10kg bag of seed. These are the ones that ruin it for the rest of us.

      One of them looks like she hates her life right now. I understand it’s the law but this is not a good look. Maybe it’s a quiet day for them or this women’s a repeat offender who knows. It still just feels wrong whatever way you look at it.

      Police didnt show up for 3 hours when they said they would come to assist me in retrieving my items when I was kicked out yet here they are for a woman feeding pigeons. Absolute tossers

      are you guys ok over there? Every headline I see coming out of England is either “British lady sentenced to 5 years in prison for rescuing stranded kitten” or “Migrant man who raped 4 women, ate a swan, and stabbed a baby, gets 3 hours home detention”
