I wrote to my elected officials in the US and asked them to pass a bill to authorize military action against the Islamic Republic. We need to help the people of Iran or they will not survive. Everyone else should write to their elected officials too.

Trump threatened to act if things come to this. I’m not sure which is more terrifying, if he acts or if he does not. I fear the crackdown turned violent now because Tehran concluded that Trump is bluffing.

I really doubt anything will come of this. Same thing happened when Obama was president and it just died down.
If the US gets involved this time then regime change is possible but I doubt that happens. The Venezuela strikes give me a little hope but not enough to think it will really happen.
