Ah yes, 48 years for killing someone in the USA. Wouldn’t that be like 7 years in Canada?

    2. Is it possible that he got trialed, sentenced and jailed in the US please? Because here in Canada he’ll get a slap on the wrist

No no please keep him in US jail, here activist judges will rush to free him after a couple of days of community service 🤦‍♂️

    4. For anyone who is worried that this guy will be getting out soon, the article says:

      >Morgan will be returned to the U.S. to serve out his sentence for the Colorado murder.

This guy won’t be eligible for parole under Colorado law until 75% of his sentence is served so he won’t be out until at least 2040.

    5. This guy almost certainly killed more than just those two people. At least he will get a heavy sentence in the U.S, our sentencing for murderers is a joke.

    6. >The deal credits Morgan for time served in the U.S., where he is currently serving a 48-year sentence for an earlier murder in Colorado.

What does this mean? That’s for a completely separate case in another country.
