Ah yes, 48 years for killing someone in the USA. Wouldn’t that be like 7 years in Canada?
Is it possible that he got trialed, sentenced and jailed in the US please? Because here in Canada he’ll get a slap on the wrist
No no please keep him in US jail, here activist judges will rush to free him after a couple of days of community service 🤦♂️
For anyone who is worried that this guy will be getting out soon, the article says:

This guy won’t be eligible for parole under Colorado law until 75% of his sentence is served so he won’t be out until at least 2040.
This guy almost certainly killed more than just those two people. At least he will get a heavy sentence in the U.S, our sentencing for murderers is a joke.

What does this mean? That’s for a completely separate case in another country.
