Muttering ‚fucking bitch‘ as the first words after firing is a choice.
In so much danger that he kept filming while drawing his weapon, shooting a woman, and called her a fucking bitch after he did it.
My gut tells me he killed her because she is gay.
They’re not just after immigrants and people of colour. Their after Liberals.
The fact alone that he circles the car multiple times shows how he put himself intentionally in a more dangerous position that was completely unnecessary. Regardless of what follows
To be fair, ICE agents are terrified of people they’re never around (immigrants, women, etc).
Haphazardly recording this video with one hand, holding a gun with the other hand, getting ready to maybe kill the driver. The video feels like it was made by someone extremely reckless.
The clearest fact against the Trump Administration’s narrative is that she turned the steering wheel away from the ICE agent. He walk to the drive side while the wheels turn to the passenger side. He walked in front of the car, which isn’t supposed to do, as she was backing up. Other footage shows him recording then drawing his gun in the same instant she starts to accelerate. He was already nearly completely clear of her when the first shot rang out and at most would have slightly clipped by the car. Again he shot several times and refused to allow aid to be rendered.
How did this footage become available to the public? Anyone know?

The worst part is I don’t think this changes anything. The message from the administration from the jump was asinine if you watched the video. The rhetoric and excuse from the right has been worse than grasping at straws, it’s flat out lying. This may confirm that the cop was never in danger and acted out of anger but we’re just going to keep hearing the same bullshit that she tried to kill the cop, and the base is so brainwashed they will repeat it. I’m really not sure what needs to be done to deprogram MAGA (and a lot of the right) at this point, but it’s a full blown cult.

He was walking around the front of their car to get their pictures, and that was his priority, not safety or his training, didn’t even drop his phone while he murdered an American.
I cannot stop being horrified by this. It’s like she was being insanely kind and he just killed her. I cannot wrap my head around hatred like this.

3 its hard to comprehend how one can fear for ones life whilst taking video for social media. in a crisis a professional, were they holding a phone, would drop the phone and operate the firearm with both hands

In the question if deadly force was justified, would anyone be dead right now if he didn’t have a weapon? Would he be dead? Did using deadly force save his life or merely endanger others by having an incapacitated driver at the wheel of a vehicle? By firing his weapon he even endangered other officers and bystanders that were in his line of fire. In a sane world this is a pretty cut and dry case of excessive force.
