Who’d have thought
Every citizen should expect that they can interact with ANY state official as Gaeilge
Hardly
It used to be case that if you worked in Gaeltacht area as a Garda and had at least the appearance of being to speak Irish that you got additional time off in the year. Not sure if it is still the case I remember a friend going on about when he joined up and he was treating it like a life hack.
