I already see MAGA Americans say the war would be over before a single shot is fired. I’m not sure they know their own history about Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.

Or when they captured Grenada island with a population under 100k. Still 20 American soldiers died and over 100 wounded. And that’s Grenada with outdated weapons and probably bad preparation for the American army. Compare it to Denmark who knows all the NATO plans and weapon systems and is already told an invasion is coming. Plus there are a ton of towns all over the place. You would need soldiers for every single location.

What’s the plan exactly in this war? Are Americans willing to have innocent people die? How would they explain it to random Greenlanders who minded their own business? Or the Greenland government that never even said a mean word about USA and allows them military bases there? Even when they took Waco it was at least against a pedo cult leader with a huge weapons arsenal. So even there it made some sense yet most Americans see it as a moral error in how it was planned. Here it’s clearly a moral error from all point of views. It would be seen as government overreach and a fascist invasion. And ironically especially MAGA are all about no intervention as they often support Russia. So they would be more against it than even the progressives. All this makes the Danish army more likely to shoot back as the moral criterias here are the only chance for Denmark. If they don’t shoot back then American people won’t care about the annexation. If it costs American lives no American will ever accept it.

Is this not just an empty bark from both sides?
